The original offering in America had Season Pass recordings (which ensure you never miss an episode of your favourite shows as it records it for you), and WishList searches (which allows you to find and record shows that match their interests by title, actor, director, category or keyword).

You can also connect the media device with your home computer and stream music/photos, home vids to your TiVo. Then share this with other computers in your household.
